THE DUDLEY SCOUT ACTIVE SUPPORT UNIT

Have you heard of the Scout Active Support Unit? Probably not, although we have been active for many years, under the name of Scout Fellowship. You may have seen us at the sponsored walk – cooking bacon and burgers and serving drinks.

That is undoubtedly the most high profile event we undertake but we have been known to provide other services when requested.

Fantastic, you might say, but what does it have to do with me?

Well, like most groups, we need new members, there are about 30 of us but though the spirit is willing, the flesh is weak.

We meet each month on the 3^rd. Monday at Jubilee Hall 1st. Sedgley’s Scout HQ.), beginning at 7.30pm.

The programme is quite light hearted and includes visiting speakers, quizzes and social events. The events planned for 2012 are attached.

Seriously, please come and join us if you are able – you do not have to be a uniformed Leader. Everyone is more than welcome; you just need            

a willingness to assist with ‘scouting’.

Just try us – you never know, you might even enjoy the company.
